| Video Discription | It's common for humans to hold powerful emotions in our jaws. This can cause tension in the jaw area, headaches, and facial pain. If you're feeling overwhelmed and you notice any of the symptoms, try these somatic exercises to release the tension. If you hold tension in your jaw, try these somatic exercises to release tension. 1) pinch the outside of your ear. This should not cause pain. 2) gently pull your ears up and away from the face. Hold this for a few seconds 3) slowly work your way down your ear, pulling out and away from you face. 4) when you reach the bottom, move back up the ear. Do this for at least 30 seconds. 5) Gently pinch the crus helix, aka the Doth piercing spot, and apply pressure for 30 seconds.
