| Video Discription | Question I get frequently is how much does a Trackhawk eat in fuel. I’m on e85 and a 400 stroker engine, so my ratio is different than a stock mpg set up. I Just filled up at Royal Farms on Flex fuel 79-81% content. It getting cold out here in Virginia and winter blends are on the way soon with less content. I generally add VP Fuels X98 to bring up my % to 85, just 4-5 gallons. Where I fill up is 25 miles from my home, so I eat up that much before getting there. I add the x98 and it’s full again. I daily this and drive 50-75 miles per day, 7 days. Fill ups are every 2-3 days and I usually never drive under 1/4 tank. I usually fill up right under 1/2 tank. $48-65 for 12-15 gallons. Prices now for Flex are $3.59-3.89 in my area as of 11-24-21. My mpg is between 6.5-12.8, it fluctuates. I generally have 293-303 range on a full tank before leaving the station. It immediately drops 5miles on range as soon as I put it in gear and pull away out of the station. I average about $450-700 per month in fuel costs just driving on that 50mile round trip schedule. I use 6 gallons on average for 50 miles and depends on how aggressive or reserved I drive. I hope this answers your curiosity on my fuel consumption with a built motor. I never use unleaded, just E85/Flex/X98 on the daily.
