| Video Discription | Follow me to see how easy it is to replace the clockspring on your 2015 or newer F150 or F250 and get the steering wheel buttons working again. On my 2015 F150 the buttons were intermittently working. Most of the time pressing a button would do something else entirely. The tools you will need are a 10mm socket to disconnect the battery, a 24mm or 15/16 socket to remove the steering wheel, a 7mm socket for the steering column cover, a flathead screwdriver for prying, and a thin rod to remove the airbag. Small hex wrenches or a meat thermometer would also work for that. The entire process should only take 30 minutes or so if you take your time. The steering wheel bolt is only tightened to 40lb ft, or "extra snug" if you're not using a torque wrench. My clockspring was Ford Part# HL3Z-14A664-B. You may have a different part number depending on option of your pickup.
