The release of Truth Social's dire financial situation this week has caused the stock price of Trump Media and Technology to bottom out, with the company losing more than $4 billion in value this week alone. The question we should be asking is why was this information withheld for so long? An online petition that has been signed by more than 13,000 Americans shows that the public wants an answer to this question, as the withholding of the information could have been done intentionally by Donald Trump to juice the stock price. In other words, it could be stock fraud, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

More than 13,000 Americans have now signed on to an online petition from the group left action, demanding an investigation into Donald Trump and his, of course, Trump Media and technology stock because they believe there could be fraud taking place or technically fraud that took place to artificially inflate the price of Donald Trump's stocks, which of course includes truth social. Here's what this group says in their online petition, they say that obviously last week when the initial public offering came out, things were going great for the stock known as DJT, right? Donald trump's net worth increased by a billion dollars based on the amount of shares he had in the company. And then suddenly something happened on Monday, of course, we got the reports about how bad truth social is off financially, uh, losing $58 million last year on revenue of just 4 million. And because of that, the stock was almost cut completely in half immediately.
The company this week alone has lost $4 billion in value. Nearly half of their value wiped out because the company's financial information finally became public. So the question that this group wants answered, and I'm right there with them by the way, is why wasn't this information public beforehand? Why did we have to wait until after the IPO to know the financial status of truth, social and by extension, Trump media and technology? That doesn't make any sense, right? You would think that this is information that the public should know about before they go and dump all their money in this worthless stock. But they didn't. The information was kept from them. And if that's a big, if this was done intentionally, that stock fraud plain as day, a hundred percent prosecutable stock fraud, if it was done intentionally to drive up the value of the stock and prevent a massive crash, the only way to find that out, of course, is through an investigation. And I think at this point, we have enough of, uh, you know, a hunch, I guess, to warrant at least a cursory review of what actually took place there. Now, we don't have enough evidence to actually just go ahead and launch a real criminal investigation. Unfortunately, we do, however, have enough available knowing that this information was not released prior to the release of the stock, knowing that this information once released, did tank the price
Of the stock, it could warrant a review, right? And the review actually starts with the reporting agencies, with the federal government. Why was this information not revealed publicly? The information was of course, submitted from Trump media and technology to the federal regulators as required by law. But did, uh, did they slow walk it? Did the fed slow walk it? Did Trump slow walk it? And is there anybody from the Trump media and technology group willing to come forward with evidence suggesting that people at the company told them not to release the information? Yet? Now, that, of course, would be a smoking gun. So if you wanna launch an investigation, you're gonna need a little more than just a hunch that something weird took place. Now, listen, I'm not denying that this whole thing is weird. I've been saying that from the start, like, how is this company even valued at, at such a high price that didn't even make any sense. 7yA5YdlF_Zs |
