You can't do a taster flight without the Cherry Kriek....Quick story 0:02:10.610,0:02:18.410 about that one. The first time I brewed that beer my daughter had just been born. 0:02:18.410,0:02:23.209 She came out with a big mop of red hair. So they're at the hospital overnight and I bring 0:02:23.209,0:02:31.860 our, at the time, four year old son home. And as a 0:02:52.620,0:03:02.760 home brewer I sometimes liked to brew beers that I couldn't get regularly. I used to 0:03:02.770,0:03:09.430 play around with my own version of a Two Hearted recipe which is from Michigan and 0:03:09.430,0:03:13.390 they just barely started distributing here. So for like 20 years of home 0:03:13.390,0:03:18.550 brewing it couldn't get Two Hearted unless I went home to Chicago. Same with the Cherry 0:03:18.550,0:03:26.530 Kriek whereas Belgian red only distributes in Wisconsin. So trying to, it used to 0:03:26.530,0:03:31.060 cost me like a hundred bucks on top of the cost of case to bribe somebody to 0:03:31.060,0:03:42.010 bring me beer back from Wisconsin. So I got so tired of it I was like, you know...I'll make my own cherry beer. Tim has won multiple world cup of beer medals and even placed 0:03:42.010,0:03:46.150 top three at the Great American Beer Fest for his 12% barley wine called 0:03:46.150,0:03:49.570 Doctor Strange. it's absolutely outstanding. I think that 0:03:49.570,0:03:53.350 Strange Craft is producing the best beer in town and even publishing this video 0:03:53.350,0:03:57.190 scares me a little because with the caliber of his beer, this quote unquote 0:03:57.190,0:04:01.870 best-kept secret, could easily blow up and become the hottest Denver brewery. 0:04:01.870,0:04:03.000 So keep this on the low down!
