| Video Discription | Saptapadii (The Businessman’s Wife) is the story of how a businessman and his wife drift apart due to her passionate attempts to cure a 9 year old trauma victim that they encounter while on vacation to celebrate their 20Th anniversary at a beautiful hill station in Gujarat, India. The businessman has a single-minded obsession with growing his business empire, and is furious when he finds out that his wife's involvement with the boy can have disastrous consequences for his business life. Does the child get cured? What happens when a businessman's wife, who has been giving her 100% to her marriage and family, asks for just 2% to do what she wishes? This is a film that brings quality cinema back to Gujarat (western India). Thanks to the initiative taken by Mrs. Jaya Bachchan and brilliantly taken ahead by National Award winning director Niranjan Thade, Gujarati Cinema will now have something to be proud of - a film at par with international cinema standards, technically & aesthetically. The film stars former Miss India Mrs. Swaroop Sampat-Rawal and acclaimed TV actor Manav Gohil in the starring roles. Saptapadii had been released in Gujarat and Mumbai on 1st February, 2013 and had a record-breaking run of 12 weeks in Mumbai.
