| Video Discription | Swathing the barley, wheat and oats was a bit of a challenge this year. Glen had two major breakdowns and spent half a day taking parts off of an old swather to replace on the one we use. They happen to be exactly the same. During the second break down Glen tried to get parts at both a dealership and then a "parts ranch" and neither one had or could order parts to fix our swather. So, he ended up buying some special welding rods so he could weld back together the cast iron pieces that broke. As this swather is as old as I am, I'm getting a little nervous.
