| Video Discription | This japanese matchlock rifle was 1st introduced by the Portuguese in the 1500's to the Japanese people, despite the fact that firearms were hated back then, they played a major role in the samurai wars back then, changing the face and etiquite of battle. This rifle is is a muzzle loader and is a matchlock meaning you need a burning wick in order to fire the weapon and the huge difference about this rifle is that this is NOT a shoulder fired weapon, this weapon is basically held by both arms holding it in a basic rifle shooting manner, but the the stock of the weapon is placed a against the face, meaning it is "cheek" fired.
