But what I found most interesting is the meticulous attention to detail of the owner, Mr. Udaykumar, he actually refers to himself as the third owner, the first two, he says, are his customers and employees, in his well-planned and spacious kitchen, that is more than twice the size of the dining area, and could perhaps outrival most traditional kitchens on the highways of India. So confident is he about his back areas that he offers willing customers a tour without hesitation. It is no wonder then that the fare served here - the thatte idli, and also a scrumptious mini benne masala dosae that I wasn't expecting - has swarms of fans for whom a stop at Pavithra Idli is a must when on the road here.
