| Video Discription | This dog training video teaches you my favourite dog training exercise for dog that can be overexcited, struggle to settle, jump on guests etc. Sit on the dog teaches them to self settle and that calm behaviour is rewarded and what we want. It is easily added to your lifestyle and takes barely any work besides using a lead! For the sit on the dog exercise all you need is your dog, a lead and MAYBE some treats (don't have to!) and somewhere to sit. I like to either do this on the couch so I can watch tv or somewhere else comfortable so I can check my phone/emails. The point is for the dog to get a bit bored and stop seeking for attention and just patiently wait until you're ready.
