Originally this small village was a Guanche settlement, but it became a Spanish territory in 1496 after the Spaniards conquered it. The total number of people living here is 90-ish inhabitants. Lying at an altitude of 650 m in the Macizo de Teno mountains, Masca offers some unique and amazing views. It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places on the island and it is a must-see if you plan on traveling to Tenerife. I hope you enjoyed this walking tour of Masca, Tenerife.
