| Video Discription | Over the past few weeks, I’ve been showing you some of my photographs depicting different aspects of a British childhood during the 60s and early 70s. Although most of these were taken quite openly, typically with my Nikons, a few required either more discreet or, in some cases, covert camera equipment to obtain them. In this video, I want to describe two of my 'spy' cameras, the 35mm Tessina and the sub-miniature Minox. Although I resorted to these only very occasionally during my professional career, there were times when I had no other choice if I was to obtain the photographs my editors required. I will also describe the deception I had to employ when investigating and photographing some of the more sordid aspects of Britain's brutal public schools. UCP-40WhAik |
