| Video Discription | Step 1: Download the “ Star Chart” as the shooting subject on DZOFILM website for adjusting back flange. Print and cut "Rear-focus Calibration Tool for Prime Lens" on DZOFILM website. (https://www.dzofilm.com/Download/) Step 2: Attach the lens to the camera and rotate the focus ring to mark 1.6m. Adjust the aperture to T4. Step 3: Paste calibration tool on the ring with middle line of the tool aligning the 1.6m scale and the scale pointer Set the object 1.6m away from the camera sensor plane, and adjust it to the center of the whole image. Step 4: Rotate the focus ring until the image to its clearest. Take the horizontal line in the middle of the calibration tool as the reference. The direction of infinity indicates positive deviation value (add shims). The direction of the closest focusing distance indicates negative deviation value (decrease shims). Step 5: The scale pointer of VESPID 125mm lens points to 3 spaces in the direction of infinity. The deviation value is positive so need to add 0.3mm shims. According to the deviation value and the reference below, add or subtract the corresponding shim to complete the flange back adjustment. Disassemble the mount and adjust the thickness of shims.
