| Video Discription | The Pacific Crest Trail briefly skirted the edge of the Trinity Alps Wilderness in Northern California when I hiked thru in 2020. I remember seeing massive granite peaks off to the west and writing notes to myself to return here after my thru hike one day to explore the area more thoroughly. This 5 day backpacking trip is our first excursion of summer 2021, and it did not disappoint. Split into 2 videos, in Part 1 (Days 1-3), we hike through the heart of the famous Four Lakes Loop—jam packed with high passes and pristine alpine lakes.
