| Video Discription | Thursday Appointment” is an award-winning Iranian short film written and directed by Sayed Mohammad Reza Kheradmandan. The film takes place at a traffic light, and circulates around excerpts of Hafez poetry exchanged between an elderly man, and the visible personification of his wife. Incredibly short in length, this film illustrates the ability to traverse the bounds between the physical and the spiritual world, and build community through tradition. Each character in the film is representative of an emotion or archetype. The relationships between the characters are additionally archetypal configurations in their own rights, and representative of the ways these configurations influence and impact each other.
