While modern day tomahawks have many tactical applications such as breaching and climbing - Doug Marcaida's design brings the tomahawk back to its original intended design - for combat. Design considerations such as removing the "tip" allows for the tool to be used for multiple strikes without fear of lodging it into flesh or bone matter.
