| Video Discription | Well who doesnot like cake! So, here I came up with a supereasy yet all new coffee almond cake receipe. I hope you will all like iy and recreare it in your kitchen. Please share your opinions with me in the commeny box below. Ingredients: 1. 1 and 1/2 cup of maida 2. 1 cup of castor sugar or powdered sugar 3. 1/2 cup of butter (softened or melted) 4. 1 cup of buttermilk 5. 1/4 tsp of baking soda 6. 1 tsp of baking powder 7. a pinch of salt (optional) 8. 3 tbsp coffee powder 9. 3 tbsp hot water 10. 1/2 tsp vanilla essence (optional) 11. 1/4 cup of chopped almonds Process : 1. Take hot water and mix coffee powder till it dissolves completely.Set this mixture aside. 2. Take 1 cup of coldmilk and 1 tbsp of vinegar to it , mix it well and keep this aside for about 15-20 minutes.This is known as instant buttermilk . I use buttermilk because it gives a nice airy texture to my cakes. You can also use yougurt instead. 3.Add 1/2 tsp of baking soda and 1 tsp ofbaking powder to the buttermilk kept aside earlier and mix it well .Keep this mixture aside as well. 4. Now , in a bowl add 1 cup of castor sugar and 1/2 of butter and mix them well . 5. Add the coffee and buttermilk mixture set aside earlier to other wet ingredients and mix evrything till they are incorporated well. Adding vanilla essence at this stage is totally optional. 6.Now add maida in a bowl along with a pince of salt , mix it well . 7. Add the dry ingredients to the wet in batches and mix them till they are incorporated well . Do not overmix the batter at this stage as it knock the air out and can result in a dense cake. 8.Line a baking mould with butter paper and pour the batter into it. 9. Top it with genorous amount of chopped almonds . 10. Preheat the oven at 180°C for 10 mins and bake it for 30-40 minutes . 11. Let the cake cool down and enjoy!!!!!!!!
