In the Retrun part 18 there are several interesting details you might have missed on the first watch. The show takes us back to Twin Peaks, but not before we watch Dale and Diane cross over to another dimension. Twin Peaks s3 e18 got a mixed review from fans who wanted answers to the fate of Audrey Horne and other loose ends the Return left us thinking about. Part 18 did end on a very intriguing scene where Laura Palmer was returned to her childhood home in Twin Peaks by Agent Cooper. The were searching for her mother Sarah Palmer who may have been inhabitied by Judy at the time. When they arrive at the Palmer house they learn that Sarah is not there. Episode 18 will lead to specualation and fan theories for years to come as Twin Peaks fans try to put together the pieces of the puzzle. One thiing that will be on everyone's minds is the fate of Cooper and Laura. Some interpretations of episode 18 of the Return assume that both Dale Cooper and Laura Palmer died saving the universe from Judy's negative influence. Others believe it was a dream, or that Cooper is stuck in a time loop where he has to keep attempting to make things right. Part of 18 of the Return marks the end of this Chapter of Twin Peaks on Showtime. It was a great adventure and David Lynch and Mark Frost didn't let us down. There was plenty of mystery plus great acting from the entire cast. Kyle MacLachlan, Laura Dern, Naomi Watts, Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, Madchen Amick, and many more gave us their best Twin Peaks performances to date.
