An Asian man claiming to be a doctor is seen being violently pulled down the aisle off by airport authorities. Ro Aram has more. In the video, three security officials can be seen approaching the man before one of them grabs him as he starts screaming. They then pry him out of his seat and drag him down the aisle by the wrists to the shock of other passengers. Monday's incident occurred after the airline said it picked four passengers at random to disembark from the overbooked flight after no one volunteered to give up their seats to accommodate four United employees. The airline had initially offered a hotel stay and 400 U.S. dollars to anyone who volunteered... and one couple left the plane after the amount was raised to 800 dollars. The man claiming to be a doctor was said to have refused because he had to be at the hospital where he worked the next morning. After being dragged off the plane, the man is seen again with blood across his face, saying many times over that he wants to go home. The clips have gotten over a million views on social media and netizens were quick to condemn the act, with many threatening to boycott the airline. However, some were more skeptical, saying that there must be more to what happened. United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz apologized for having to re-accommodate the customers. The airline and the U.S. Department of Transportation have launched an investigation into the incident and one of the three security officials has been placed on leave.
