Resumo:
Reino Unido, uma união política constituída por quatro países, Inglaterra, Escócia, País de Gales e Irlanda do Norte, que juntos formam a quinta maior economia do mundo, com PIB de 3,1 trilhões de dólares. Além disso, é notório por ter sido uns dos maiores impérios do planeta, pela monarquia e por sua capital Londres, que é um dos principais centros financeiros do mundo desde a metade do século 19, com a cidade dominando até 43% do volume de negócios no mercado de câmbio estrangeiro. Atualmente, o Reino Unido é membro das principais organizações mundiais, como o G7, a Otan, além de ser o líder da Commonwealth, que se trata de uma associação de mais de 50 países que se apoiam mutuamente. No entanto, mesmo com tamanha relevância, nos últimos três anos, a economia britânica vem amargando situações cada vez mais difíceis, principalmente após o BREXIT, acordo que resultou na saída do Reino Unido da União Europeia, e consequentemente, ressignificou o papel do país no cenário mundial.
