| Video Discription | The X-T200 has serious retro style. It's wrapped in a black leatherette, with the composite top plates finished in a lighter tone. We received the Silver edition for review, but you can opt for Dark Silver if you prefer a more understated style, or Champagne Gold if you want to add some flair to your life. The body is smaller all around than a typical consumer SLR—3.3 by 4.8 by 2.2 inches without a lens (HWD), and fairly light at 13.1 ounces. You can buy it as a body only, a good choice if you're upgrading from an older camera and already have a set of lenses. Ergonomics and Controls The X-T200 shares a lot of tech, and looks, with the X-A7, available for $100 less but without a viewfinder. There are some other differences, though. The X-T200's wrap has a rougher, pebble finish, and a slightly deeper handgrip. The overall feel is a little more premium, and gives more confidence if you plan on pairing it with a telephoto lens. Display and Viewfinder The LCD is one of the largest you'll find in a consumer camera, at 3.5 inches diagonally with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It's sensitive to touch, swings out from the side to face forward, up, or down, and is deadly crisp at 2.8 million dots. Brightness is adjustable, and at its highest setting it's very usable under bright sunlight. Power and Connectivity The X-T200 is powered by the same FP-NW126S battery used by most of Fujifilm's other mirrorless cameras. If you're already invested in the system, you might have some spares around. Charging is done in-camera, via a USB-C connection, so you can top off via a portable charger when on the go, or share your laptop or phone charger when traveling. Autofocus The X-T200 offers significantly better autofocus than the X-T100 that came before it. Phase detection pixels cover a wider area of the sensor, so focus responds quickly even when you're trying to focus away from center. Imaging As with the autofocus system, the X-T200's imaging engine is basically identical to the X-A7. It's a standard Bayer color filter sensor, rather than Fujifilm's proprietary X-Trans. Because of this, some of the color modes available on higher-end Fujifilm models, like the Eterna video profile and Classic Negative film look, aren't available here, nor do you get grain simulation or some of the more esoteric processing options, like the color chrome look to better preserve detail in deeply saturated subjects. 4K Video Vloggers and videographers will enjoy the X-T200's video toolkit, especially its forward-facing screen and microphone input. You can apply all of the same color profiles available for stills to your 4K or 1080p footage, with frame rates up to 30fps for the former and 60fps for the latter when recording with sound.
