| Video Discription | From time to time Pathé filmed variety and music-hall acts throughout the silent era, and here are three of them that made it onto the Pathé Baby home movie format - all of them feats of strength. The film of the Japanese boxes was issued originally called "Les Equilibristes Godayou" and dates from 1911 but I have taken the other two acts from a Pathé Magazine or Gazette which came to me with neither labelling nor titles. Still, we can enjoy for a moment some of the things our (great-) grandparents marvelled at. De temps en temps pendant l'époque muet les cameras Pathé ont filmé des artistes de varietés ou music-hall, et en voici trois de ces films qui ont été édités pour être projetés sur le système Pathé-Baby pour "le cinéma chez soi". L'origine du premier film est « Les Équilibristes Godayou » de 1911, mais je n'ai pas pu trouver celle des autres spectacles, que j'ai trouvé dans une « Pathé-Gazette » ou « Pathé-Revue » qui ne possède plus ses génériques.
