| Video Discription | In this test I use a WD Live TV Plus media player's composite output to test 3 budget-level capture devices. Credit for the video used in this comparison goes to youtube channel "Rambalac", the specific video is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPnFaCZSjcc. This video was used for it's high quality and 4:3 aspect ratio. The WDTV media player downscales the 1080p video to 480i and outputs via composite (RCA) to the capture devices. The captures were performed using VirtualDub and Huffyuv lossless codec. The files were then rendered with same export settings to .mp4 format using Handbrake.
