It can track things like current, voltage, and temperature, and it will even send you alerts if there is a problem. In this video, we will teach you how to wire and connect a Victron 500A SmartShunt to an SOK Battery. This is compatible with all versions of Victron SmartShunts, and also works perfectly for all SOK batteries, including the 100Ah and 206Ah versions. ๐SETTINGS: Battery Capacity: Varies depending on system. Charged Voltage: 13.8 (*2 for 24V & *4 for 48V Systems) Discharge Floor: 10% Tail Current: 2.00% Charged Detection Time: 3m Peukert Exponent: 1.05 Charge Efficiency Factor: 98% Current Threshold: 0.10A Time-to-go averaging Period: 3m Battery Starts Synchronized: Disabled (NOTE: you will need to fully charge your battery to sync up SOC%) State of Charge: 30% (NOTE: Set this to 30% with brand new, untouched batteries. They ship at 30% SOC%.) ๐กComment on Discharge Floor: Setting this at 10% is going to set the SmartShunt to indicate 0% remaining and 0 minutes until empty when the battery is actually at 10% charge remaining.ย This is best for optimal life.ย If you choose to fully discharge your battery (not recommended) then set this to 0%.ย If you want to be more conservative (not necessary, these batteries are VERY robust) then set this to 20%.
