After some long thoughts I decided I will buy it and test the Sony 24-50g vs the Sony 24-70 GM II and the Tamron 20-40 f/2.8 to figure out how much better the Sony 24-50g is than the Tamron 20-40 and if I can deal with the comprimises of the Sony 24-50g compared to the Sony 24-70 GM II.
