| Video Discription | Aligning the blades on your Wahl® clipper correctly ensures that the clipper does not trim too close and will prevent the moving blade from touching the skin. 1. To start, position the taper lever in the up direction. Loosen the screws that attach the clipper blades slightly with a Phillips screwdriver. 2. Align the blades. The top blade should be approximately 1/32” below the bottom blade. The far-left tooth of the top blade must be covering, or to the left of, the first small tooth of the bottom blade.
