| Video Discription | Hey guys, in today's video i will share will y'all my favorite way to catch spring and summer walleyes. this rig works best with a light or medium action rod spooled in 4 to 6lb mono. a size 4 octopus or short shanked hook will do just fine, with a barrel swivel or leader 6 to 18 inches over the hook for best performance, and a light sliding sinker above your swivel, this will let the fish run without feeling much resistance. this setup works in many situations and the worm can be substituted with a leech or minnow. to hook your bait, hook a worms tip of its head and the same with leeches and minnows, if panfish stealing your worms are a problem you can always attach a trailer hook to your bait. in order to fish this rig, slow trolling, drifting and still fishing all work. best of luck and don''t forget to subscribe! #walleye #fishing #nightcrawlers yZNKme7gfB0 |
