For those couples looking for a slightly alternative wedding ceremony for their special day, we hope ours gives you some ideas and inspiration of what a humanist ceremony could look like. We loved the thought of writing our own script, vows and adapting poems, making them light and funny at times! Gramps’ adaptation of Denise Jones’ poem Marriage is for Life, not just the Wedding Day had everyone in stitches! It’s well worth a listen. And the icing on the cake (excuse the pun) was having Jamie’s Dad lead the entire proceedings - something we’ll never forget.
