| Video Discription | Gymnastics competition season is finally here! Whitney is mentally ready for the season to start, but physically she is not. Whitney is still recovering from the ankle injury she suffered last summer. As a result, she is unable to compete on vault and on floor. The doctor did not want her to compete on beam either…but she tried it out earlier in the week at practice (for the first time in 3 months) and there was no pain…so she competed on beam. She did great! She fell off the bars, which obviously did not help with her score, but otherwise she looked awesome. Whitney and her coach watered down her beam routine to remove some of the skills that could aggravate her ankle. She looked solid and did not fall off the dreaded balance beam. Yeah!
