| Video Discription | Sirloin steak When I eat out and it is not a Chinese restaurant; I normally choose Sirloin steak if it is on the menu. But I prefer the way I cook it. My problem with most restaurants doing the steak is; the heat is not intense enough and the meat is too dry. I like my steak charred and juicy with a strong aroma. A Chinese burner with a wok is perfect for cooking these kind of food…it’s almost like eating Nando’s but better! Ingredients 1 piece of sirloin steak 1 medium size mushrooms 50g onion 130g chips Condiments 2 pinch of salt 1 pinch MSG 1 pinch sugar 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce Dash of wine Method Deep fry chips until done or use your preferred method of cooking it. Split mushroom into quarters and deep fry for 1 minute and set aside. Use the back of a cleaver and tap the sirloin steak in a diamond pattern, repeat for the other side. Heat wok until very hot and add some vegetable oil. Sprinkle some salt onto the wok and add the sirloin steak into the wok and sprinkle some salt on the steak. Fry for around 1 minute (you may fry a bit longer to make the steak well done), turn the steak over the other side and fry for another minute. Add the onions and mushrooms and give the steak some toss. Add a pinch of MSG and sugar and give it some more toss Add dark soy sauce and dash of wine to complete with some more tossing of the steak. #sirloinsteak #wokfrysirloinsteak IqyNaLEYNj0 |
