The eBay seller I bought these Xbox's from said they had the following problems: #1 wouldn't download games, #2 had error 203, and #3 showed no image. Of course I had to check them out myself and figured out that all Xbox #1 needed was to be updated. I love easy fixes like that. For Xbox #2 I found that it wouldn't update so I tried replacing the wifi board and also replaced the hard drive and then reconnected it to wifi. Once I got Xbox #3 open I could see someone had already tried to replace the retimer chip but hadn't done the best job so I replaced the chip with a new one. About This Video: I'm trying to fix 3 broken Xbox One X's that I bought on eBay for $144 each. They had a variety of problems including not downloading games, not updating, and not showing an image. After replacing a retimer chip, replacing a hard drive, replacing a wifi board, doing a USB hard drive update, reconnecting to wifi, and finally making sure all the consoles were updated I spent about $50 in parts and should be able to make about $80 (less fees) for each repaired console. v8XUfipXLdA |
