| Video Discription | Album: "Signs Of Life - A Tribute To Pink Floyd", released in 2000 For this tribute album "SIGNS OF LIFE", 21 bands from all continents have gathered and have recorded their favorite Pink Floyd songs. All these tracks are much more than just a copy of the original, each band has added its own unique spirit to give the songs a totally new perspective. Besides the all-time classics such as "Another Brick In The Wall", "High Hopes", "Wish You Were Here", "Comfortably Numb" and "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", the album also contains some of the earlier more psychedelic songs from the band's first decade, e.g. "Interstellar Overdrive" and "One Of These Days". German band ZIFF was formed in 1983 by Achim Frick (guitars) and Michael Gross (bass). In 1985 the drummer slot was filled by Ralph Frincke, who soon became a central member of the band. Around the same time the band finally managed to find a stable vocalist, as Achim Frick took over the vocal duties. The band inspired by Genesis, Yes, Marillion and IQ. After contributing one song to the PINK FLOYD tribute album "Signs of Life" in 2000 ZIFF have disappeared from the limelight, and the current status of the band is unknown.
