| Video Discription | There are plenty of day trips available starting from Dubrovnik. The most out of ordinary one is for sure visiting Mostar: a Bosnian city which is the capital of the Herzegovina region. This region has constantly been disputed by different ancient civilisations but the one which influenced it the most was definitely the Ottoman Empire. From the mosques to the bazar shops, Mostar has an undeniable Turkish vibe. The most famous landmark (it even gave the name to the city itself) is the Stari Most which is literally translated as Old Bridge: a 16th-century Ottoman bridge connecting the eastern and western banks of the Neretva river.
