He composed this piece in 2017 as a commission from the Yishun Primary School Concert Band. The title Inspire! comes from the initials of the classroom names at the school: Independence, Nation-Loving, Sincerity, Perseverance, Integrity, Respect and Excellence. The piece is imbued with positivity and belief in the future for the young generations to come. 既にハル・レオナード・ヨーロッパ（デ・ハスケ）から出版されている「新たなる息吹き」に続く、シンガポールのイーシュン小学校コンサートバンドのための委嘱シリーズ第２作目。 原題「INSPIRE!」は子供たちのクラスルーム名である“Independence（独立）” “Nation Loving（愛国）” “Sincerity（誠実）” “Perseverance（忍耐）” “Integrity（高潔）” “Respect（尊敬）” “Excellence（卓越）”の頭文字から名付けられている。困難や苦難を乗り越えて、希望のある未来へ向かう若き世代を応援するドラマチックな内容で作曲されている。ドラマチックかつ低グレードの作品なので今後は幅広く親しまれるであろう。 pbxFyjonjE4 |
