This imli ki chutney forms a great dip for samosa and is also an integral part of many chat items . Ingredients: 100 g tamarind 200 g sugar 200 g jaggery 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 tsp ginger powder 1 tsp rock salt \1 tsp red chili powder 1 tsp cumin powder 1/4 tsp food colour(optional) 1 tbsp maghaz(optiona) 1 glass water(240 ml) Method: take a pan transfer soaked tamarind into it. turn on the flame and cook it for 4-5 min on medium flame. stir it with a spoon to remove the pulp from it. take a strainer and strain the boiled tamarind into it. keep aside the strained pulp and discard the residual.
