#Jamui Lok Sabha seat re-emerged in about five decades later in 2009 and for the first time, NDA candidate Bhudev Chaudhary has won. Then he was in the field as a JDU candidate. #LJP candidate Chirag Paswan defeated his RJD candidate #SudhanshuShekharBhaskar with 85,947 votes in Jamui (safe) seat in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Chirag Paswan got 2,85,352 votes, while Sudhanshu Shekhar Bhaskar of RJD got 1,99,407 votes. JDU candidate and former Bihar Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary secured the third position with 1,98,599 votes.
Jamui Lok Sabha seat is composed of three districts Jamui, Munger and Sheikhpura areas.
