| Video Discription | Fish cutlets are tasty, spicy, and mouthwatering If you are looking for a new and tasty fish recipe then the surmai cutlets recipe is definitely the right thing for you. It is a blend of tasty fish meat loaded with protein and spices. So friends let's start with the recipe Preheat a pan and add 1 teaspoon of oil and the surmai fish pieces. Here I have taken 5 medium size surmai pieces, which are cleaned and marinated with turmeric for 10 mins. Add 1/2 cup of water and cook surmai pieces from all sides Add 1/2 cup of water again and flip the pieces so it cooked evenly Surmai will cook within 5 to 8 mins, once cooked turn off the flame and let it cool to room temperature Once the pieces are set to room temperature, remove the skin apart along with the fish bone, we just need boneless fish flesh Add 2 teaspoon of red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric 1 teaspoon of Coriander Cumin powder Salt 1/2 teaspoon of Mango powder 1 medium size capsicum finely chopped ½ cup of finely chopped beans 1 medium size onion finely chopped Garlic and Chilli paste (6-8 garlic cloves and 2 green chilli paste) 2 slices of bread 1 whole lemon juice and mix it well Now add 1 ½ spoon of rice flour for binding purpose and mix it well When the mixture is ready, we will shape our surmai cutlets, you can shape them as per your choice, here I have given them a circular shape. Shape all the cutlets and keep them aside. To coat the cutlets in a plate we will just mix ½ cup of rice flour and ½ cup of semolina. Now dip the cutlets in it and shallow fry them on a pan with low to medium flame. Flip them when it turns golden brown, this process will take approx 5-7 mins and our crispy surmai cutlets are ready to serve with any dips of your choice. IFODKWLr6y4 |
