(June 24) ---------------------------------------- [Notes:ANCHOR VOICE] NB. THIS IS A VOICEOVER TRANSCRIPT, NOT A FULL SHOT LIST. French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife were rushed into their airplane by security guards after a border policeman committed suicide at the airport ceremony. Sarkozy and his wife were busy saying their goodbyes when the guards rushed in and while she scurried up the steps he took his time and continued waving to those on the ground. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was also ushered away as members of an honor guard looked on. No shots were picked up by these cameras and there's been no explanation as to why the officer killed himself. Police are also quick to point out that there was no assassination attempt on either Sarkozy, his wife or on Olmert. Earlier in the day Sarkozy did spend some time meeting with Palestinian officials. He criticized Israel for building its barrier walls around Jerusalem and the West Bank. Sarkozy says the city should be shared and the fence won't bring about peace.
