| Video Discription | If you have a faulty or damaged Lid Switch, you won't be able to turn your washer on! The Lid Switch lets the Washer know that the lid is closed and latched, and the Washer will not start until it is. That's why, if your Washer won't start, it's important to test the Lid Switch to make sure it is still operating correctly! Fortunately, testing the Lid Switch is a really easy job, and all you'll need is a Multimeter! Once you've either confirmed or ruled out the Lid Switch as the cause of your malfunction, you can either replace it or move on to another part! *Remember, this video is meant as a general guide for Washer repair. Your Washer may look a little bit different, but the installation/repair/inspection process should be similar across all Washers!
