It's not 20 fps but it's plenty for MOST people, and it was for me as well. It has a shutter speed which goes from 30 seconds to 1/8000th of a second and an ISO range of 100 to 16000 expandable to 25600. The camera is pretty to use, myself i like cameras to be a bit heavier, but still i don't consider this as that heavy of camera at 730 grams, and i'm not bodybuilder, but it is heavier than many cameras. The button layout is very sweet and intuitive, especially if you're coming from a canon camera, there's a lot of buttons and they're all easy to memorize and reach quickly, and they're customizable. It also has a touchscreen which can be used for anything u like. It doesn't have a joystick but i didn't see it as much of a problem, tho the 90D has one. I could make a canon 80D vs 90D video but i need to get hold of a 90D for that since i wanna actually have experience with the camera before i make the video. I've had this camera in fog rain and snow and being weather sealed it never had trouble but i don't recommend you to test this feature as often. It's easy to use if you're new to cameras but it also has features like Custom modes 1 and 2, in which u can save a mode and a preset settings which you can access with a flip of the switch. I think 1080p60 is quite good for most people, especially when paired with the dual pixel autofocus which is very fast and accurate. It shoots both .MOV and .MP4 No 120fps but if you slow down 1080p60 to 24 u can get some fairly smooth slow motion. And if you're into the opposite side of slow motion, it also has 1080p timelapse built in which is pretty handy. Nowadays even crop sensor cameras do quite well in low light even tho it actually is one of the reasons why i'm upgrading. But is it bad in low light? No. not that bad at least, i can comfortably go up to ISO 1600 and sometimes 1 or 2 thirds of a stop higher which is good for most situations but some events i shot were so dim that i had to go over it and the files start falling apart and getting quite soft. So once again, depending on what type of photography you're gonna shoot this may not apply to you at all but be aware of it. My opinion Now look, a camera can be older, but it can still be able of producing great looking images unless it's too old, and without a doubt the 80D is able of doing that with ease, what newer cameras can do is perform better in low light, which you might or might not care about, and they also have better autofocus with eye tracking and all that, but still unless you're not shooting some high intensity sports you can definitely use this camera with no problem, i just think newer cameras make it easier for us to capture shots that are hard to get or maybe couldn't get at all. But this is still a great camera to build up with, which you can keep for a while even after you master it. The 24 megapixel sensor is quite good even for today's standards, and it gets very clean and usable shots up to some considerably high ISO levels. It also has built in wifi if that's something you're into, a flip out touchscreen of course. And it's just a great camera overall.
