| Video Discription | Dr. Teresa Liu-Ambrose and Dr. Janice Eng, Heart and Stroke Foundation funded researchers (BC & Yukon), give us a heart-to-heart discussion on their research and findings around cognitive recovery after stroke. Dr. Liu-Ambrose is the Canada Research Chair in Physical Activity, Mobility and Cognitive Neuroscience, as well as an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. She received her Ph.D. in Human Kinetics, M.Sc. in Human Kinetics and B.Sc. in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Eng is a professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia, and began her career as an undergraduate at UBC in the combined Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy (PT/OT) program. She later obtained her M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto, and completed her doctorate in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, and post-doctoral training in Neurophysiology at Simon Fraser University. 0sGSRigLbVA |
