| Video Discription | Saturday, September 18, 2021, I competed in my last race. I had been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) earlier in 2021 after experiencing symptoms in February. Ironman included my story in their race documentary. Less than two years ago I was able to complete this race, now I'm unable to walk, talk, dress myself (May 6, 2023).
